| This is my first attempt at a large scale flying ship. It is probably the most difficult model I have ever started to do and will take me quite some time to get right. I'm not 100% sure how this is going to be finished, in fact I'm clueless. I have never built a model that was so perfectly symmetrical and smooth lined. The Tau have very articulate machinery and I wanted to convey this with a very sleek yet powerful war machine. This model can work as a flyer or skimmer, and is the Tau's equivalent of a Titan in 40K. Notice how tiny the fire warrior is. This model will bulk up quite a bit as I begin to add the putty over foam and sand it into shape. I may even apply plastic card panels over parts of the ship for more layers further down the road. |
