| This model was sculpted as a commission. I used the Forge World titan design for the basic shape trying to make the creature look more alien. I also wanted it to look like a praying mantis stalking it's prey. The traditional "Alien" head crest was added along with several spikes and chitin plates. I imagine most large organisms would have to be on the thinner side to allow for the strength to move their massive bodies along. The arch of the back would also be a natural way to help support the creatures weight. |
